• Smarter category suggestions for contacts: decide whether a recognized contact suggests its most frequently used category, the category of its most recent receipt, or nothing at all - and give any contact a fixed default category that always takes precedence.
• Two new commands re-run recognition on the receipts you have selected: rebuild the searchable text layer, or re-read amounts, date and vendor just like a fresh import.
• Automatic recovery for damaged libraries: a missing or damaged library info file is restored from its backup, or the app offers a repaired copy that opens normally again - optionally bringing back orphaned files as new documents.
• Hold the Option key in the document list to turn "Open PDF Document" and "Open Original" into "Save As", so you can quickly save a copy elsewhere.
• The feedback form has a new "Screenshot" button to capture part of your screen and attach it to your message with a single click.

Improvements

• Long-running repairs, copies and exports now show progress and keep the app responsive; exports can be cancelled and clean up any partial files.
• Clearer guidance when importing from GrandTotal and macOS automation permission is missing, with direct links to the help page and the right System Settings.
• All supported languages now include the latest dialog texts.

Fixes

• Documents scanned with an iPhone (Continuity Camera) are trimmed again, removing the surplus white border on import so the receipt fills the page.
• Assigning a contact no longer overwrites a category you already picked; the contact's category only fills in when the receipt has none yet.
• Dragging an email onto the app icon while the app is not yet running now imports it reliably.
• Observed folders on iCloud Drive are now emptied after import when that option is enabled.
• Creating, duplicating or saving a copy of a library no longer overwrites an existing library or a non-empty folder.
• Opening the original file of a document imported from an older library works again, including earlier email attachments.
• Importing an unsupported file, such as a Pages document, now shows a clear message naming the format instead of a confusing error.
• Help and website links open correctly in every language, and untranslated texts fall back to English instead of showing an internal placeholder.
• Damaged or unreadable attachments now explain what went wrong instead of silently showing an empty view.
• App Store version: exporting no longer fails when the export folder option is turned off.
• Fixed several rare crashes, including while closing a library or a window, right after editing a field, and when hovering over PDFs with a damaged text layer on macOS 26. Migrating an older library from a cloud folder is also more robust.
